Goal

The demand for electrical energy will increase in the next few years and decades. Experts predict a global energy production growth of approximately 5,000 TWh per decade. The production of electrical energy by steam turbines currently covers about 70% of the total global production. The lecture is intended to represent the application spectrum, the mode of operation and design of modern high-performance steam turbines.
