Description

The Institute of Turbomachinery and Fluid Dynamics has a large array of acoustic instrumentation equipment:

  • Prepolarized ¼“ - pressure microphone by  G.R.A.S., dynamic range: 38 db – 168 dB, frequency range: 4 Hz – 70 kHz
  • Prepolarized ¼“ - free-field array microphones by  G.R.A.S., dynamic range: 32 db(A) – 135 dB, frequency range: 5 kHz – 20 kHz
  • Various Freefield-microphone (1“, ½“, ¼“ ) by Brüel und Kjaer
  • Various unsteady pressure transducers  by Kulite
  • Noise level analyser (Brüel und Kjaer – Type: 2250)
  • Pistonphone, calibrator
  • Acoustic camera (In-house developement)
  • Impedance tube (In-house developement)
