Dear students,
This summer semester, the TFD is once again offering the lecture "Steam turbines for today's and future energy systems".
Steam turbines are widely used in today's energy systems due to their flexibility in terms of the fuels that can be used and their high efficiency.
Their integration in various applications and their stabilizing effect on the power grid also make them an important component for power generation in the energy system of the future.
Dr. Paulukuhn from Siemens Energy will be lecturing again this semester.
The event will be hybrid: In addition to the attendance dates of the lecture and exercise, individual lectures will be read online.
Furthermore, during the lecture period there will be an excursion to the Siemens plant in Mülheim an der Ruhr, which is an international leader in the development and production of modern high-performance steam turbines.
The first lecture will take place on Wednesday, April 30 at 12:30 in Garbsen (Room 117, Building 8140). Further information can be found in the StudIP event of the lecture.
