Traditionally, the TFD offers an excursion for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering during the lecture-free Whitsun week. This event gives you the unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at leading companies in the field of aviation and energy technology.
This year, the excursion will take place from June 10-11, 2025 and (according to current planning) visits to the Volkswagen AG wind tunnel in Wolfsburg, the German Aerospace Center in Göttingen and the Center for Energy Transition Technologies of Siemens Energy AG in Mülheim an der Ruhr are planned.
