Activities
- Turbochargers
Research Topics
In the current research project, a hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) method for evaluating the interaction between engine and turbocharger under engine-like operating conditions is to be implemented on a hot gas test bench. This should enable the real-time investigation of the pulsating turbine load and compressor air outlet of a turbocharger under engine-like boundary conditions. The aim is to achieve a better system understanding of the interaction from engine to turbocharger and thus to enable shorter development times and higher efficiencies.
