The TFD was once again represented at this year's ASME Turbo Expo conference in London by Prof Seume, Dr Maroldt, Dr Mimic and Mr Schulz. The topics of the contributions ranged from the design and performance analysis of fuel cell propulsion systems driven by an H2 micro gas turbine, to the influence of Turberkel blades in axial compressors, to the improved prediction of compressor performance by extending simulation models with a vortex-reactive turbulence model.
In addition to the scientific presentations, the conference was an excellent opportunity for networking. Our representatives made valuable contacts with leading experts and representatives from industry and research. These connections offer the potential for future collaborations and projects that will further advance our research and enable us to continue to develop innovative solutions for the turbomachinery industry.
The participation underlines our commitment to innovation and excellence in turbomachinery research. We are proud of the contributions made and are already looking forward to ASME Turbo Expo 2025.
