General information about our process of application
In order to be able to get an accurate and good impression of you when reviewing your documents, we kindly ask you to consider the following points in your application, if possible:
- Please describe in detail what you have done at each stage of your CV so that we can get a good picture of your scientific and/or practical skills and abilities. When stating professional qualifications such as software knowledge and programming languages, it is also interesting for us to know how you acquired them and to what extent you applied them.
- In addition to your skills and qualities, your motivation to work on research projects here at the institute and, if applicable, your motivation to pursue a doctorate are particularly important to us. If you are applying for an advertised position, please make a direct reference to this as well. So write to us why you would like to work for us. We much prefer to see applications that show your interest in working here at the institute than standardized cover letters.
- Please send your complete application documents (cover letter, CV, references) preferably by e-mail to the contact person indicated or, in the case of unsolicited applications, to Mr. Ole W. Willers.
To improve our personnel search, it is highly beneficial for us to know how you became aware of our institute. You can help us greatly by referring to this in your cover letter or by quoting the reference number of the advertisement.
We wish you every success and look forward to receiving your application!
Please remember when applying for a position listed above, or if you are generally enthusiastic about a specific Area of Research at our institute and are interested in our institute, send us your complete application documents including
