Overview
The purpose of this AML-experiment is to demonstrate how to balance the operation of a rotating machine using vibration analysis in laboratory scale. Thereby, balancing means to enhance the mass distribution of a rotating body so that the body bearing is almost without an impact of centrifugal forces. Furthermore, there should be none or almost none circumferential forces acting on the bearing.
